Got RTHM? Highlighting My Favorite Club on Campus
For most people, Sunday mornings are meant for rest and relaxation. But to a small subset of students at USC, including me, the start of the week means it’s time to put on a show. The students, identifiable by our instruments and matching T-shirts, are members of a club at USC called Remedy Through Music. This registered service organization, also called RTHM for short, is on a mission to bring live music to underserved communities here in southern Los Angeles.

Jackie Faye is an Asian American rapper from Dallas, Texas. She graduated USC with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business Administration. Although she works as a data engineer during the day, she works in her free time to continuously grow her craft in the music industry.
That One Tuesday Night When I Hung Out with Felly

Chris Felner—stage name “Felly”— doesn’t enjoy school. The 20-year-old from Trumbull, Connecticut, admits he’s never been totally captivated in his classes because he feels it hinders his ability to create. The technicalities with pitch, tone, specific chords and notes being played isn’t a calculated process for Chris. Instead, he feels the music and goes what what makes sense to him. That’s what’s worked for him since he started to write music at the fleeting age of 14.
