Next year, we’ll have McCarthy Honors College in The Village to consider as an additional option to the already present freshman dorms – but for now, I’ve taken upon the task of getting the scoop on current USC students’ reviews of their residence halls and suites for the 2016-2017 year. Here’s to hoping that this post compiling facts and feedback from the people that were in your shoes last year can help you incoming Class of 2021-ers a little bit in your housing preferences! It’s coming up a lot sooner than you think.

Yo, Anonymous! First off, Congratulations on applying, getting in, and choosing USC!! Welcome to the Trojan Family! Housing freshman year is really… interesting. In my experience, finding a roommate online is kind of like online dating. People put themselves out there and you can either put yourself out there and wait for someone to contact you or look through all the people and reach out to people. It depends on what you want to do.
Don't Be THAT Roommate

Okay, we all know of these people or have the unfortunate luck to be living with them, but they are the people who are vindictive, passive aggressive, or just plain horrible roommates. You are not always going to enjoy who you are living with and skip off into the sunset. Life is going to be full of difficult people who are going to try to bring you down. Don’t let them. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, you are either: 1. Oblivious and fine with everything (bless your pure, adorable soul) or 2. It’s you.
