2021 has brought many new changes to campus, one of these being the meal plan swipes! On top of the three residential dining halls, there are now other on-campus options for those with a meal plan - like some restaurants at TCC. So if you are looking to dine somewhere that is not a dining hall without spending coveted dining dollars, take a look at this list so find some of my favorite options!

For many college students, receiving the preferred number of hours of sleep can be difficult. From grueling through all-nighters to attending parties, filling in the gap by recharging your body is a crucial component of self-care. While it might seem like an appealing idea in the beginning, choosing to swap sleep for coffee will not last in the long run.

I’ve had a lot of time to kill over the past few Zoom semesters, so I started listening to a lot of podcasts. Podcasts are perfect for long walks around campus, running errands at Target, and my all-too-dreaded weekly chores.

As an avid podcast listener, I started thinking: “Why can’t I start my own thing?”. I’d like to say that I had a noble reason for starting a podcast. Truthfully, though, I just wanted to see if I could do it…and I did. With only four episodes out, I wouldn’t consider myself an expert, but I hope talking about my own experiences can show people that you don’t have to create something groundbreaking to have a lot of fun and learn a lot!

As a graduating senior, I wanted to offer advice to the future generations of incoming USC students. For students both newly arriving at USC or returning for another semester, finding a new organization to join can be overwhelming. On campus, tables used to line Trousdale as clubs competed for the attention of students just trying to get from one class to another. Over the course of the pandemic, the process of recruitment has shifted to Zoom meetings, where clubs not only had to compete with one another but also the feeling of Zoom fatigue.

While every interview was a bit different, the majority of the questions were just variations of ones I had answered previously. The end of the semester is finally here and everyone is eager to get ready for the day when we get to move onto campus. At least, I know I am so ready to move-in and get to see all the internet friends I made over the past year. But, I also know that many of you may be scared and unsure of what exactly you need to know or do in order to make such a big move. I am in the same boat; I have never moved in my life, and now all of a sudden I need to move cross country. So, this will be a learning experience for all of us, but hopefully some of the research I’ve done can help you figure out what you should and shouldn’t do during this big move.
