Food Delivery around USC
By: Ayman Siraj ‘18
The other day a friend and I broke into conversation regarding how our eating habits had changed suddenly in junior year. I personally used to cook most of my meals my sophomore year but that all changed this year. I had no clue how to cook, I used to watch YouTube videos and cook my favorite dishes. In the beginning they were bland and probably only palatable to my taste buds because my conscious would beg me to do justice to the hard work I had put into cooking my meal. I steadily improved my cooking to a point where I have friends come over for meals sometimes. Let me define sometimes at the rare weekend where I wake up on a Saturday morning and don’t have a panic attack on all the work I have to get done.

Trojan Marching Band: Behind the Scenes
By: Lilly Diaz ‘20
For those that don’t know me, I am a huuuuuge lover of music. Ever since I was able to walk and talk, I have always had a love for singing, dancing, and playing instruments. I recall one day actually digesting the idea that I was finally a senior trombonist in my high school (this past spring) band. And when I received my letter to USC, I remember feeling stoked about joining the Trojan Marching Band (TMB) as a trombonist. And look where I am now – a freshman at USC and in the TMB.

5 Things You Need to Know about Alcohol Consumption at USC
By: Kelly Kinas ‘16
Drinking. It’s a thing. That may surprise some of you but it is. There are some discreet places around USC’s campus where alcohol is consumed. Craziness. Okay, I feel like this is getting a little too sarcastic so I’m just gonna stop that whole thing now. Alcohol is consumed around USC, whether it’s at a Greek party, a fundrager, or at Study Hall or at the 901. You don’t have to drink at USC but a portion of the population does, even those who are underage. I’m not telling those who are under 21 to go drink alcohol right now because that’s illegal. We all know that. But if you’re going to drink , if you’re over or under 21, there are some things you need to know. Hence this blog.
